Similar to my previous post showing a mockup of a possible future custom folders system for bookmarks, I made a new concept for waypoints and bookmarks on planetary surfaces.
Photos show a workflow of clicking on a random place on the surface, then displaying a menu in which you can select some actions exactly like in the gal/sysmap. Once you have a waypoint to some specific coordinates, you can fly right to it like any other POI or base.
I understand the difficulty of selecting a specific location by hand over the map. The ideal thing would be a text box in which you write the coordinates, but it's something.
