Newcomer / Intro Bookmarks - On Foot Engineers

The Horizons Engineers have an option to 'bookmark' a favourite blueprint
This option also appears (in the RHP) for the new Odyssey engineers - though it appears redundant, as I can't find a way to bookmark any blueprints for the new engineers.
Am I missing something...?

You need to go to engineer bases to apply any on-foot mods.
Like you have to do to apply experimentals in Horizons.

You cannot "pin" engineering blueprints from the Ody suit/gun engineers. Think of Ody mods as the equivalent to experimentals for ship engineering.

You can however "upgrade" your suits/guns at any Pioneer Outfitting

.... so the option to 'View pinned blueprint' is redundant.....?

Technically there are no blueprints, just modifications. Pioneers Supplies does all the upgrading. If you didn't have to visit them at all there'd be no point to having them in game. They do have some funny lines of dialogue at least. Even though you miss some because the UI doesn't respond when you unlock an engineer.
