Boost turn

I Boast to get to A+B quickly in a relatively straight line.

If I want to turn quickly I set my speed to the blue zone and turn.

If feeling super adventurous. I might trust FA Off realign myself FA On.

But I see lots of references to boast turns .. specifically it seems in relation to staying on an elite condor's tail in a more agile ship (viper).

To me boast turn just seems to be turning in a wide slow turning arc and with elite condors pivoting so quickly it seems the last thing you want to do?

Try putting yourself into a turn and boasting (sic) while doing so. You might notice a difference.

Takes some practice to get right in a fight though.

Yup, the trick is to start the turn then tap boost.

But, more serious. Yes, boosting while turning is quicker.

Yeah, watch that. If you try this while turning down, you will red-out. Shocked when I saw this, but it happens. So, blackouts should also be possible, but they are harder to achieve as you need much more gs to Blackout than Redout.

I always do it to align with starts prior to FSD, especially in an ASP the growl is superb.
