Newcomer / Intro boosting through base door not adviced

some random dude is a boost queen.... just about to dock at lave station. just about to slip through the gravity field and the noob decided to boost into me from behind.. lost my type 6 and about 500K of rares...

1. Don't call out a commander on the forums. It's against the rules. Edit out the names before a moderator does it for you.
2. Lave and the surrounding area are the #1 hotbed for PKing. You'll get everything from ramming to missile salvos without warning.

i've seen that name mentioned in at least two other threads, sounds like he needs FD to use the ban hammer on that players account and it looks like all the mods are asleep right now or the threads would have been edited already.

I haven't spent too much time in the current Beta but supposedly version 1.1 will make using smaller "disposable" ships like the Sidewinder do a lot less damage if they ram you. Folks like CMDR <redacted> will have to find other ways to make our lives miserable. Rest assured though, find them they will.

that cmdr has other methods apart from ramming unfortunately, they also use dumbfires. I'm at GL now hoping to catch some screen shots of them but as i'm in the UK and i suspect this person is a US player its doubtful i'll get in the same instance.
