General / Off-Topic Borderline Good...Borderline Bad

Just wanted to share this with the community. I am from the US and this is the 2nd Swedish band that has blown me away with musical talent (Tove Lo is the other). Not to mention all the other European talent. What other talent is Europe hiding? Please let me know...I love new music and unique talent.

I came across Dutch band Within Temptation the other day. Quite like some of their older stuff.

Thanks...those are some good songs...My group has a jukebox portion of the forum. I would love for other CMDR's to post the music they enjoy listening to here.. the world is vast and many great artist, musicians and bands get lost because they simply don't get heard...and then there is Bieber...lol

There's lots of good music around.

I've noticed that when record companies are concentrating on one region somehting really good tend to emerge from another. In the 60s for example, companies were looking for another Elvis or Buddy Holly. The Beatles just slipped in. Then while they were looking for another Beatles, along came Velvet Underground.

Limited examples to be sure, but this happens every few years.

Music is a matter of taste really. But this little gem from a 64 year old Joan Armatrading still leaves me tingling.
