Boring thank you thread

With all noise as usual going around I just want to say thanks to devs and working hard with all tweaks and improvements for 3.0. Especially I want to say thank you towards Sandro and team of designers for flexibility regarding crime and punishment changes. Didn't expect so fast turnover and reaction to feedback. All ideas and potential changes - some corner cases aside - sound good way forward.

Thank you.

Definitely progress and hard work all around, and there is plenty more to go. Keep pushing ahead FDev, but we really must get our collective heads together to keep improving the game :D

Yeah, friendship is--wait. I'm just gonna calmly agree and thank you for letting us* know hope isn't lost.

*those of us who have almost resigned this forum to a salty fate.

Well said, and thanks for posting this Eagleboy.

Indeed.

I was very pleased with 3.0 and - as Eagleboy very well knows - I'm no fanboi.
I realize there are bugs but FD has been at it from day one and it takes time, so I'm fine with that. I know there is a lot more work to do, but given the scope of the game, it's no wonder and I'm fine with that too.

Overall BEYOND 3.0 was a good expansion and I can't wait to see what's next, especially Q4. Keep at it FD !

Yeh, ya see, I too am grateful for a lot of stuff, really, I think some of the ideas and implementations, and in fact ones that are completely FD's own, that weren't ideas from the community, are excellent. I'm particularly enjoying the Chieftain and the new engineers, and ships and engineering is one of the most important aspects of the game, so it was so important to make significant improvements there. Job done. Well done.

A lot of it is a bit of a rollercoaster though, yay! No!!!! Yaaaay!! NOOOOOO! Yay?

Please really look at what you're trying to accomplish with CnP and have another go. There must be a better way to handle griefers than this.

Overall Elite was improved with 3.0, agreed.

Frontier does a really great job developing Elite: Dangerous.
And it is great to see that they as developers listen to their community and implement changes based on overall feedback.
If Elite continues like it has done before it is bound to become one if not the greatest space MMO on the future market.

Thank you for making Elite: Dangerous as such a great game!

Agreed OP, the increased flexibility and responsiveness to the community has been impressive to say the least.
Bravo folks.

I've been very much enjoying the latest changes.
The engineering system is vastly improved.
Loving the planetary colors etc.

More of a 'bump' than anything else, you guys have already said what I'm thinking. I'm getting sick and tired of 'the sky is falling, the game's doomed!' threads. If someone has a legitimate concern, sure, post it up. Raise a ticket if it looks serious enough. But don't come on here to wail and moan like a stroppy teen who's just been told to tidy their room... :p

... or if you absolutely have to complain, at least do it with some humour or sarcasm. REAGE!!!! is so last decade, doncha think?

The game is fine. Some improvements have been made, but they're not all going to be to everyone's taste. C'est la vie. Some bugs have cropped up; they'll be squashed, same as always. Keep on doing what you do, FD. Some of us are very happy with your efforts and looking forward to what you're going to bring us next.
