Bought an extra copy as a gift... can't gift

So, just bought a copy of Elite Dangerous (Beta) for a mate of mine, only realizing after reading the FAQ that I can't gift it.

Has anyone had any similar issues? I've opened up a support ticket (yet to be answered) and reading their refund policy doesn't leave me with much hope, even though I'm fully aware that their refund policy is at best sketchy when compared to digital consumer laws.

I've essentially an extra copy of Elite tied to my account that is for all intents and purposes, dead weight, until I can get this resolved.

Email the store, give them your order number and the email address of your giftee - and they'll sort it out :)

Went through this back in Alpha - was completely painless.
