Bought body kit - lost lights

Is this really the attention to detail and care we can expect going forward from Frontier?

They design body kits and sell them - not cheap by the way - and then when you get them, they don't match the bodywork properly and worst still, the front 'bumpers' completely block / obscure the lights!

This is truly a demonstration that they care about money and not quality.

Very unhappy customer.

I'm sure from the hostility on this site i will be attacked and criticised for using the lights, but i use them around stations, and i use them on planets and when I'm flying around human players (nav beacons / resource sights etc) as a curtesy to others, like lights on my volvo even when it's not nighttime.

Let me guess, you bought the Vulture ship kit right? Me too. I found the only option is to not put the front decorations on, that way you can use the lights.
Its not that much better with the Asp x either as parts of that interfere with other parts of the ship too.
I do get the feeling that FD have a 'ah that'll do' attitude towards ship customisation.

What would make sense is, if the lights are obstructed, that the body kit redirects (takes over the light function) light into its own set of lenses. Maybe even better placed lights, which would give an incentive to buy such a thing $$ instead of a hindrance.
