Bought Planet Coaster but can't install

I bought Planet Coaster for my son but we cant seem to install it. We keep getting an error message saying 'No suitable 3D graphics adapter is available, please check that you have a DirectX11 graphics card with suitable drivers installed'.

We are running Windows 10 64 bit operating system, intel HD graphics card driver version 9.17.10.4229. Windows10 says it includes DirectX12 but Intel system information says we have DirectX11. Could this be causing the problem?

I'm thinking I'll have to request a refund and my son is heartbroken as we pre-ordered the game and he paid with his pocket money and has been waiting excitedly for the release all week.

Thanks for posting on the Planet Coaster forums. Unfortunately, it looks like your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to play Planet Coaster. Your graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics, which is not supported. You will need a dedicated graphics card of either NVIDIA or AMD to play the game.

OS: Windows 7 (SP1+)/8.1/10 64bit
Processor: Intel i5-2300/AMD FX-4300
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: nVidia GTX 560 (2GB)/AMD Radeon 7850 (2GB)
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 8 GB available space
