Bought too many of one suit because of stupid UI. How do I sell them?

Go to Pioneer. Have a look at the bit of the menu that says "Sell".
Pioneer shop, browse inventory, Upgrade/Sell Items. It's actually kind of in your face, but I get your frustration.
