Bounties! how to collect and where?

Hey guys, im pretty green at this and am wondering where the hell do i collect the bouties for the pirates i killed on a mission from a bulletin board! i finished the mission and collected the credits for that but it also says i have 22k in credits to collect i have checked the system i did the mission and cant figure out where i need to go, any help would be appreciated

Goto a station owned by someone whose allegiance matches the faction your bounties are with (see transactions tab). Then go to Contacts in Station Services. You will find it in there.

There are 2 facets to this
1) Generic bounties for Alliance, Federation or Empire

You can get these paid out at any of the correct corresponding system, go into contacts and its the 2nd one down below the pilots federation iirc.

2) local bounties from the small independent factions. These have to be claimed at a station owned by the correct faction AFAIK. I am up near lave now and I have one which is really annoying as I cant get rid. I have no idea where it is from, but I think it is one of the systems when I was down near Achenar.... too much of a PITA to find it unless there is an easy solution?
