Bounties in RES, way too easy

you could thats the whole point, you don't have to do the most damage to a target and for example the area i'm in has 8 police vessels, the last reset I did had 2 police Anacondas LOL of course its easy, I think you could do it in an unarmed sidewinder, with a mining laser.

Edit: the only reason it's easy is because of the police tbh, I think i'd have issue with pythons + 2 ships in its wings even in my python.

atm its an exploit. wait until the last moment, stay out of fire......then shoot and get the kill
its like farming NPC´s near a capital ship now with all that police around.....

so maybe tone down the police or introduce a higher damage limit to get the kill.....
 
Yeah, it's not quite so easy when the police aren't around. Try hunting in an anarchy system, or even doing a high intensity conflict zone. Of course you'll get a little assistance in the conflict zone, but once one of those Master or Dangerous Anacondas or Pythons focus you... Or worse, them plus several smaller ships, it gets a little difficult.

Had to jump out of one today because a Python, two Eagles and Asp all decided to focus on me at once. Surprising how quick those little Eagles can get your shields down in a Cobra...
 
I have off the grid system where I make 1,5-2mil/h bounty hunting. Traders have their secret trade routes, I have my hunting ground. What is the problem? This is what we wanted.

Easy? not when police is slacking behind 10-20km away. Going alone against wings like Anaconda, 2 cobras and sidewindy can prove challenge.

The bounties are finally worth what they should have been. Personally the only change to the current RES I'd like to see is less police ships. It gets a way to crowded right now and it resembles high intensity conflict zones some times! It would also become a bit more challenging if there aren't 10+ ships firing on the same target.
