Bounties should not be issued when being actually stealthy

Possibly been posted before... did a quick search but didn't find it. But if you manage to pull off an assassination mission in odyssey without anyone seeing you, without the alarm being raised, etc. I don't really see why you should get a bounty? It seems silly to go to all the effort to track down your target, wait for the right moment, quickly execute them, then have a bounty applied when no one noticed.

I second this. Can we get a reason or a work around? I mean otherwise assassinations are pointless. Cant get back to the station after I complete it as the security attack and destroy me

It's future for you. He was on Facebook, you were on FB, your profiles were being updated on the fly by software integrated with your spacesuits. Hard to keep it secret.

Presumably, the body would be found at some point and finger you as the culprit. I imagine the bounty on kill system is to make it more difficult to move around a settlement after killing someone as guards can now discover you're up to something. Otherwise, one could start dispatching workers in a settlement out of the view of security and trivialize stealth type missions with guards unable to detect that you're doing something wrong without a bounty on your head.

I don't really think that's a valid reasoning personally. Yes it might make that sort of game play easy to capitalize on... but if you are taking the time to do proper stealth and such then that should 100% be allowed IMO. Its not really trivializing stealth if you are just actually being stealthy and executing a strategy. That said - most of the time it wouldn't be super possible to do that with every worker as there's a lot of overlap. I still stand by my original post - if you take the time to execute an individual and not get detected, you shouldn't get a bounty. I mean ideally I'd love to see a full system where you can move the body and hide it, but I don't see them adding that. In lieu of that, simply allowing us to do assassination missions stealthily seems like it would only add to the experience to me shrugs

Do it like with looting illegal stuff: when there are witnesses you get the fine + the base goes into alert when the witness get the possibility to notify the others
Also, make it possible to knock out someone, no need to kill everyone who you want to silence for a bit.

Jesus Christ - yes!
It is pretty annoying to deal with bounties because of that. If someone sees you - yes. Get the bounty on your head.
But if you are actually stealthy there is no reason to be punished.
