Bounties that are not payed? Perhaps not...

I read several complaints by commanders who think that they do not get payed for their hard work because of a bug.

This might indeed be a bug... I do not know for sure, but I have to say that I never encountered it even once, even though I earned several millions in bounty money.

In several star systems multiple factions are present with similar sounding names.
The entire system of 'Lazarus III' (made it up) might be independent for example, but there could be three factions called for example 'The Lazarus Independence Party' and 'The Lazarus Freedom Party' and 'The Lazarus Coalition of Independence'.
It might be the case that you are trying to get your bounty money at the wrong station.
Just double check which sub faction pays the bounties.

personaly i have killed ships with bountys. got the blue writing in the top right hand corner confirming i had the kill and stating the bounty the i scroll to my transactions tab to see where to colect said bounty to find its not there iv had it in solo private group and open play in nav becons and belts with and without players on grid

its true , it happens very rarely but still.
even in this build and with a good isp and lots of bandwidth.
there are still some network issues like I cannot communicate with every player.
and I know it has nothing to do with their connection quality.
cos they often have good connections too.
also noticeable is the market and bulletin boards delay on buzzy gaming hours.

Basically playing WITHOUT another player in the immediate area = no problems. Bounties are paid and awarded normally.

Two or more players in the same immediate area = random whether bounty is awarded even though a blue notification of it being earned pops up.

This is a bug it's not players just being stupid and not knowing how to cash bounties in or any of the other suggestions I've seen recently.

Kill baddie = blue notification of bounty reward = NOTHING!
Checking transactions = nothing.

I now always make sure I'm in an area alone now bounty hunting, because otherwise the grind is more a tedious robbing trudge than I can stomach.

Alas this means coop play with friends is no go. We avoid each other like the plague because of this bug.

I play in areas with others all the time. It never happened to me.

I made three kills today. I got paid for them, but the number of bounties claimed is still the same as it was yesterday. Frankly, I'd rather be credited with the kills than gain the money, which is a piffling amount compared to how much I make from trading. At this rate it's gonna take forever for me to get to Elite from combat.
