Bounty Fishing

I've been running the Halloween Apple-Bobbing CG, mainly because I have this new Anaconda I've been breaking in. There's as a bounty-hunting CG tied to this. Both require a 35Kls SC to the station, so sometimes I'll grab my apples, then go to a RES to grab some bounties before making the trek to the Patterson. I can safely handle up to a high-RES in my cargo-Conda.

Somewhat accidentally, I discovered that instead of hunting, I can go fishing. Now I knew that having cargo would draw out criminals, but what I didn't consider until it happened is that I can "float in the lake", wait for a criminal to attack me, and then let my turrets and SLF destroy that criminal without me pressing a button. Hey, when nature calls....

Passive "fishing" is definitely slower than hunting, and I dare not do it anywhere more dangerous than the default RES at the moment, nor would I just leave my ship sit there all day while at work, but if I'm home doing chores (within earshot of "Under Attack"), it's a cool way of catching some bounties while not being tied down to the machine.

"Pirate Bait" - it's the one and only thing those Commodity rewards (micro-weave hoses, Nanobrakers, et al) are good for... brings the NPC's out of the woodwork.
