Next ship for BH would prob be a DBS for 6-10m or if you can stretch to 12-25m (plus ins ofc
) get a Vulture, it is more durable, hence more forgiving for learning! Assuming you have Horizons - get a grade one, overcharged power plant upgrade from 'the engineers' - Felicity Farseer - when you get the chance (using Sulphur) - not essential, but advisable if you don't want to fall into a pulse laser induced coma on a regular basis & then you can power any weapon combo - I managed 18.6 mw after a few rolls!
In fact, get out to the BH Community Goal in the Slinks Eye system. I recommend solo for your first few hunts to get a few banked credits 'cos there are more idiots than a Donald Trump rally out there right now - if you're thinking 'Hmmmm is he talking about me?' Yep I am, you frigggin joyless, mom's basement-dwelling retards! [haha]
..where was I? Oh yeah - then hand your bounties in at main station (I think its called Kelleam Ring?); a few million will get you in line for a big reward when it finishes! I've handed in about 5mil & it looks like I'll prob get about 20m - not bad for an hours work, hehehe)

LTT15574 and Aphra are both nearby and have lots of different RESs for all tastes. LTT15574 also has good outfitting. I'd take the route: Sidewinder, Viper, Vulture, FDL for bounty hunting., but if you want money: sidewinder, Viper for bounty hunting to get enough for a long range hauling Cobra, then get down to Sothis and Ceos and go Cobra, Asp, Anaconda.

sothis ceos for BH ? can it be done also there? i want to improve my ranking with FED to get acces to Sol... my goal is an anaconda but for now i just have 3.3 mil and a cobra mk 3 i have found this map for BH could it be good to follow? http://imgur.com/gallery/M4Ef9Z9
I`m a beta backer and made trade elite over 12 months back via regular A-B trading (superconductors/imp slaves) in an anaconda before the Cutter was in game. Now it extremely easy to make big credits so I bought a second account a few weeks back at the sale price and tried a fast track method. I went to Kremainn in my basic sindy and piggybacked the cops in the high res for about 2hrs, made enough to buy a T6 plus a A class FSD and fitted it for speed/cargo with no weapons. Then of to Sothis/Ceos, 25hr total game time and I had an anaconda with close to 300 million in assets. On my primary account it took me 6 months to get enough to buy an anaconda, so the game is a lot easier these days.

Considering how *nudge nudge wink wink* Frontier is about combat logging, there really is no point in upgrading ships. The Devs practically endorse the practice, making skill and progression irrelevant. Just fly a sidewinder.
I did a lot of my early BH in Kremainn as well, but ended up over in the Xihe system after that and pulled in a lot of vouchers there. Zhen Dock station orbits a planet with a bunch of RES sites really close by and is Federation aligned, so it's really quick to do rearm/repair and it will help with your ranking.
For ship progression, I went fairly similarly to how you have (with a few side purchases along the way for fun) - Sidey, Cobra III, Vulture, FDL. Also now have a Python that I'm slowly engineering as a multi-role. The Vulture is a great jump from where you're at, but you're correct that the power management has to be done very carefully. With Engineers however, you should be able to boost the Power Plant to cover any needs very easily.

i will continue in kremainn or Xihe and just BH to a good vulture and do more BH after that right now im cadet in fed and frendly with them too what i hate is that i have to do missions to get the next rank like a promotion and is anoyng ... i will also get ceos sothis trading once i will have a fair amount of money but ill do it in an aspx i still have to learn how im going do mod the vulture to not have power problems
i wish this game is gonna make me leave eve online )
