bounty hunter reflexion

When reading the other threads which discuss the stuff "that matters", I felt like complementing them with some sheer mood experience I had yesterday, when doing some bounty hunting in a nearby RES.

I was cruising around the RES nav point, in the inner ring of some gas giant, in complete dark. The type of dark, where you can see the asteroids only by the silhouette they impose on the stars in the sky. It felt peaceful (if one can call it peaceful with hardpoints deployed :D), the pitch dark, the miners slowly spawning all over the place, their steady laser beams cutting into the matter. Serenity of a bounty hunter. Then pirates came and the local authority, the military lasers flashing in the space and in the dog fights only black over black said that there are some other objects in the space around us.

Then slowly, the light started to materialize over the place. First the infinitesimally tiny semi circle on the gas giants contour, which did not really lit anything but was immediately visible, then slowly the dawn came to the RES, with asteriods field in clear, but the stars in background still visible.

When I left the place with my multi-cannons empty, after possibly an hour and half, it was already nice morning. I am not sure how often this happens, but this was one moment, when I actually felt, like I was there, insignificant part of the galaxy, blazing my trail ;).
