Bounty hunter ship of choice

Yeah the vulture is a solid BH ship that will be fun to use and earn u credits quickly. Fit the baby up with 2 large thermal weapons of choice and u can spend hours in a RES before needing to return for ammo.
That being said im a pure BH at heart too. And used the vulture for ages. But i moved up to the python and whilst its not combat designed like the fer de lance. Im in love with its firepower. 3 large slots and 2 medium slots. I feel like a capital ship when im out there
I mostly BH in the Asp. Two C2 fixed beam lasers and four C1 gimballed multicannons enables you to bully anything smaller than you and deal massive damage (particularly to subsystems) against larger targets. With class A thrusters it's also surprisingly shifty for it's size, so not much escapes.
Do you mean real bounty or pve?
Because the vulture is a terribad real bounty hunter. Too slow.
You need speed and power. But also ability to lock them. Clipper or fur de lance are great

Also my viper is great for hunting asp downwards to starter ship. Beyond the asp you need friends to do damage.

The vulture is the tool for PVE bounty hunting. The clipper is the paintbrush.
Vulture if you're on a budget. Some people will say that it's the best bounty hunting ship, but I disagree (maybe they never tried anything else, I don't know). If you have the credits, go with FDL or clipper (and python if you have more than 100m to spare). Both are pretty amazing.

Vulture is the logical, albeit not mine, choice.

The Python packs a brutal punch but it kinda feels like a machine gun in fistycuffs. Also, in a decent combat dress, the rebuy is ~6 mil versus the Vulture's < 1 mil. I do fly covered twice all the time, but it's still a hell of a lot. Use it VERY wisely.

I like my FDL. Really the only downside I have with it is the horrible off center cockpit with that obnoxious bar. No one really gives the class 4 hardpoint the respect it deserves. The class 4 hardpoint isn't in the best location for gimballed, but that's only if you care about seeing what you are shooting. It still has quite the range down there, you just gotta trust in the gun and pay attention to the radar and the targeted ships orientation from the hologram. Or you can just go fixed and not care about that at all

I was BH with viper and cobra before and like two day ago i buy a vulture and dat firepower with this agility, no more back to station for ammo, destroy everything within a minute ( master conda in something like 30 sec with no help )
It's the perfect bh ship and it's cheaper to fit and to rebuy if destroy.

I have tried Vultrue, FDL and Python for PvE bounty hunting and conflict zones and my favorite of all 3 is the Python.
It has insane shields with 3x boosters (+ KWS) and 2x SCB. Compared to FDL and Clipper is is very slow and Vipers can outrun you (and they do!) which is is frustrating sometimes, but in turn you can also engage an Elite Anaconda in a frontal assault without worrying too much.

Recommendations for full-Combat Python build? Recently got my vulture and its now pretty kitted and starting to save up those CR
I thought about the FDL too but i just like the Python better party for the way it looks. I also don't like the idea of my main "heavy hitter" being a single bottom-mounted turret like the FDL has. positioning for those is always a pain. come to think of it, I'll probably pick up the clipper when i get the Emprie rating for it just because its soo sexy to look at. I hear the view from the cockpit is nice as well

I hate to be this guy, but I'd like to know what the most efficient ship for PvE bounty hunting is, in terms of credits per hour. All things considered, which ship will allow you to kill your targets the fastest and net you the best income?
Currently I use a Vulture, but when I can afford them, I still don't know which way I'll go between the Python, the Clipper and the FdL. Also by then there might be the Courier to consider as well...

yeah vulture, realtively cheap and very effective,
good speed (with A thrusters boosts to ~392), agility second to only the eagle, and hits like a truck. oh a dont forget very tough shielding.
its balanced through not having a great power plant, u will have to make compromises with your fit.

I found the viper to be better then the cobra for BH (CR per Hour wise), tho i prefer to get in the furball and mix it up like a dogfighter. the cobra does have the ability to be very tank tho...
Quickest killer has to be the python. 3 large and 2 medium. The vulture is just mew after. Sure you can out maneuver anything except eagle but with python you need less time on target. Yep a viper will turn and run but usually boost after and they go pop before out of range. Well pve and my one pvp viper kill.
