Bounty hunting and claiming local bounty after patch

So after the patch I decided to try out my now reconfigured viper (lower class shield cell and sensors for power management) with some bounty hunting in an Anarchy system.
Obviously I have to be a bit more tactical now especially against bigger ships (except the Python, boy has that shipped been nerfed, I killed two of them last night and they hardly got a shot off, just kept slowly turning to show there big backside to me, but that’s a different discussion) and the AI is a bit better. But a good night’s work anyway and nothing I can’t adapt to.

Anyway I noticed I was getting bounties for local factions a lot now. One of those is for a faction in the anarchy system I’m in. I went to claim the bounty at the local station but couldn’t. They are not located anywhere else (their name is after the system itself). I noticed the faction themselves are in lock down.

So my question is, has anyone else come across local bounties they can’t claim since the patch? Is it because they are in lock down and is there any way around it?

I have about 60.000 cr in bounties to be payed by several minor factions, none of them controlling a station, so they seem impossible to retrieve. I´ve seen some other posts about this issue. I´ll send a ticket too

I was bounty hunting in HIP 296 and killed two wanted NPCs, which had bounties in the "HIP 296 Values Party" and in the "HIP 296 Universal Coporation". Both Factions are being displayed in the reputaion screen, but none of the stations in or around HIP 296 house these factions and I cannot redeem the bounty. It's just 20k, but still...

Yes, I've had this exact same issue also in an Anarchy system - can't claim the bounty as the faction doesn't have a station/outpost.

I also posted about this but got no response, at least you had a moderator reply to yours.

What I can't work out and what nobody has answered is whether this is in fact a bug - I'm 90% sure it's a bug but I've not seen any official confirmation.

Anyone know?

not only that i dont get my money......the whole transaction screen is messed up with minor faction bounty vouchers

dont know how much is sitting dead there.....but far above 100k

Yes, this is a bug that the dev's are aware of and they are working on it. Many players are running into this. It is most likely related to the changes made to the galaxy with station name changes, moves, and faction control switching.

Raise a ticket for sure.

But for reference, this seems to be happening to just about everyone at the moment. Hoping for a fix soon-ish. (There's plenty of threads about this very problem)

I personally have nearly 800k or so in "small faction bounties" to hand in with no station belonging to that faction to do so.

You're lucky, I earned over 150k in bounties last night but they didn't even show up on my left hand panel. Raised a ticket.

Finally, someone else who has the same problem. I've tested this in several different Anarchy systems and I've lost out on several hundred thousand in bounties due to them not registering (have been practing my Pirating skills on NPC traders and using KWS to help supplement the income).

I logged in this morning and was able to redeem my bounties. It looks like they fixed the problem. Good stuff.
