Bounty Hunting Big Game

I'm getting tired of burning Sidewinders, Eagles, Vipers and Cobras.

I'm in a Viper that's worth more than 600k so I'm pretty well equipped. Two pulse and two multi-cannons to finish up after dropping shields. I have a defense turret for incoming missiles.

Where should I go hunt for big game? Anarchy systems? I have a Kill Warrant scanner so I'm good.

(I consider bounties less than 10k a waste of time right now).

Resource extraction sites in anarchy systems, you'll find them around most gas giants with metallic rings. They'll often spawn wanted ASP, Pythons and Anacondas.

You can also try your hand at the assasination missions.

Awww, you're cute ;) Full kitted viper is ~4mil, you still got a long way ahead of you, my friend.

On topic: You won't get any better bounties in certain areas. Bounties are equal everywhere, the only thing you could do is aiming for assassination missions for elite anacondas.
There you will have at least 50k bounty on the ship itself and also 150k+ mission reward.

I make a decent living exclusively bounty hunting in a cobra, but mostly used a viper until recently. I find the most profit is made a) taking the big assassination missions, but while looking for the target look for other bigger ships with big bounties, and interdict them. it's much easier finding big bounties while in supercruise because distance is not a factor on your scan... once you interdict him use the kill warrant scanner, i've had an 80K cr target turn into 120K after scanning... while on my way to kill a 199k cr target.. credits add up fast. also systems with a large criminal faction typically have more large bounty ships flying around. in fact THEY will interdict YOU, just turn you back and submit(as horrible as that sounds).

join up with the federation or something, im constantly getting rank up missions to kill elite anacondas, once i got 2 class 2 multis and 2 railguns it became easy peezy
