Bounty Hunting Influence Caps?

So I'm working some low-population systems (10k-5m) and am doing so by handing in bounty vouchers for my chosen faction, and have heard about the influnce change cap restricting how much of an effect daily changes can have. How many credits worth of bounty vouchers do I need to hand in before it's not worth handing in any more?
 
two different things.
maximum influence change is across all types of actions.

those actions have diminishing returns/a soft cap in itself. they are NOT linear.

in any system below 2 mio population you can't outlast max influence change with bounty hunting alone realistically, even if fully unopposed/no other traffic (check station reports).
you'll have to combine many different action/transaction types for that yourself or across your group.

you get 90% for ~4.5 mio of what you get for ~8 mio.
i have never looked into gains beyond ~10 mio, but if the curve goes on after that you'd need to redeem literally billions of bounties to get the max influence change in a small pop system.

So from the looks of things, the optimal strategy is to get 4.5m bounties/tick and supplement with other activities if that's not enough. Thanks for the help.
 
yep.

influence losses are distributed to the other factions relative to their in-system influence, so if smuggling to the largest factions market the second largest faction gains most of their loss.
