Bounty hunting negatively impacting rep and cant hand in

Not a moan just an observation and I'm hoping someone can help me understand what's happening...

I decided to do a bit of bounty hunting after 1.1 launched and got some local faction rewards (as in image) which I cant hand in at Riedquat... so where am I supposed to hand them in AND why did I get negative rep with the Feds?

Check that the station you are at is owned by the League of Reidquat.

I remember having some bounties to hand in for the Federation, went to a Fed system but couldn't turn them in - found out the station I had docked at was owned by an Independent. Needed to head for a different station in the system.

Could this be your issue ? (I am still patching so can't check for you)

This. You may also check the link in sig for why your rep was negativly effected.

You cannot have bounties in an anarchy system. No crime can be commited in them. You can however collect on bounties from other systems while in an anarchy. Go to the system it is from to get paid.

That was true before 1.1 now I have bounties in an anarchy system (Aristocrats of Ross 318 & Unified Ross 318) even though neither own any stations.

I'm getting local faction bounties now too, in a system where none of said factions own either of the 2 stations. I guess they'll just sit there uncollected until one of them changes control...? Annoying...

Wonder if its the same in non-anarchy sectors aswell then? Picking up bounties for random factions that can't be cashed in. Yuck.

People just don't seem to grasp what's happening; so, here are all the details:

System: Jera
System Government: Independent Democracy
System Factions (first screenshot): Jera Social Democrats (JSD), Jera Holdings (JH), Jera Nationalists (JN), Purple Fortune Inc (PFI), Jera First (JF)
System Stations: Moore Dock (JSD), Coney Port (JN), Mitchell Orbital (JSD), Asire Dock (JSD) [JH, PFI and JF do not control any stations in system]

Transactions screen shows that I have a bounty claim with JF but JF holds no stations in the system. I cannot cash in the claim in the local system. Activating the claim ticket (like you would with a mission) does nothing; so, if JF holds a station outside the system, I have no way to reliably find said station. This claim for 3,667CR is worthless.

If I get bounties from Jera First in an Anarchy system and go to Jera System to find a Jera First station....nothing.

I have this exact same problem too since the 1.1 update.

I'm in the anarchy system Orrere and have bounties to collect for Union of Orrere, Party of Orrere and Orrere Travel Company. I am at the only space station which is independent in the system and cannot collect these bounties here.

Looks like bounty hunting in Anarchy systems suddenly became useless? Or am I missing something?

This happens not only in Anarchy systems. Any system with a minor faction that does not have a station may see you earning rewards you cannot collect.

Yup i have the same problem, i have bounties for system factions that are not present at any station within or external to the system, so i cannot hand them in.

Personally, I would like the fix for this bug to go along the lines of this:

Activate the bounty in the Transactions window and it would show you what station(s) will payout the reward. Minor factions with no stations would either payout through a local security office or through their own representative in the Station Service -> Contacts area. Bounties from Alliance/Empire/Federation would simply say "Any Alliance/Empire/Federation Station."

Or a middle-man could offer to turn the bounty in for you (via the bulletin-board) for a %. Lots of ways to do it. My transaction screen is now filled with nonsense bounties.
