Bounty hunting suggestions on improvements

After bounty hunting for a while since around June it is apparent like majority of the game the shell is there but there is room for improvement.

The combat is really good and it is far better than SC in my opinion. In FD your ships feel like they have weight and the bigger the ship the weightier the ship feels, so you really do get a sense of size when it comes to maneuvering in the ships.

Why go into so much effort or make combat so awesome if you make the NPC's act like panzies? A Cobra should not be able to kill an Anaconda on its own even a novice one. I have seen people take Elite Anacondas in Eagles on YouTube and Twitch that's crazy. (Well done to them) But it should just not be possible. The highest you should be able to kill in a Cobra is an Asp maybe a novice Python.

As it stands flying a Cobra is about the best bang for your buk, The cost to run a ship past that is just too expensive for the profession to be highly profitable and you can kill pretty much anything in a Cobra post a 4mil fit.

Lets compare briefly the what costs you have as a Bounty Hunter compared to Trading (Station Trading):
Bounty hunting
costs:
Fuel>Amunition>Insurance>Interdiction Damage>Possibility of fines/Bounties (Which are easy to come by but we will talk about this a little later).
Trading
Fuel>Insurance>Cost of commodities.(You shouldn't loose a ship trading but in case you do).

Some of these you can get around fuel for example however a decent fuel scoop can cost quite a bit.

The highest bounty I have came across is 83k and that took some searching and I bet you can guess what ship it was. You guessed it Anaconda.
Why is it that Pythons/Anacondas come with big bounties? Do pirates in sidewinders get to a point and think " Ahh wait my bounty is at 1200cr better not shoot anything else"? Why do you not see sidewinders with 30/40k bounties? Just have it be completely random between X and Y? Y being more thank 1 or 2k when talking about Sidewinders.

Now lets get into the ever hot topic of friendly fire, I saw a post where some one suggested any bounties under 1k local authorities ignored it. I would agree with that with 1 small change. You have X amount of hours in order to pay it. A bit like a parking tickets, after so many hours you don't pay the bounty the bounty will double and then you are fair game. A.I are clumsy even if you are as careful as possible. Even more so you are less careful when you are trying to kill something just as it starts spinning up FSD with 8% hull to go and you want to kill it before it jumps, then your ever friendly local authorities decided to just fly straight in front of your line of fire.

Now for faction bounties these are dumb. especially when you don't know what faction the faction is or a faction will have 2 different sides but either one you shoot you still get a penalty with that faction. I quite honestly see no need for a Kill Warrant Scanner at all they cause more trouble than they are worth. Yes i guess they have a function in Anarchy space but you will find just as big bounties in faction space. You would assume if an NPC has a bounty it is fair game to shoot them. NOPE! Huh why they are criminals? If I have a bounty anyone can shoot me.
I have purposely bought Palladium of the market, made sure I had no bounties/fines not wanted by anyone, put it in my cargo, flown to a Nav Beacon to then be shot at by faction pirates/police used my kill warrant scanner to check for a bounty, yes 4k bounty belonging to Ross 928 group. Shot back so I don't die my self and then got a bounty. This must be a bug because its self-defense.

last few things A.I and FSDs they are so broken. I fly an Asp mostly I think the price and performance is awesome on this ship. I have been paint scraping Cobras and they will jump in an instant, no time delay on their FSD nothing, They will jump with 0% health nothing you follow the wake nothing there. I can only assume it blew up, no wakes on the other side or anything.
Then wakes the amount of time I try to jump and I get you can not jump due to obstruction well if it's obstructed to me how did they do it?
Last but not lease A.I jumping whilst having their weapons out. I have had A.I been shooting and jump at the same time.

I have no doubt a lot of issues people are having will be ironed out in the next few months but FD, this game has more bugs in it than the Amazon Rain Forest and after being in Alpha and Beta for so long you are open up to as much criticism as the community can though at you. People have been posting bugs like the ones above for months no acknowledgement of the bugs or anything.

Its like you have completely ignored all the bug reports from your testers if this is the case it wasn't much of a ALPHA or BETA was it?

As far as bounty hunting as a career, we don't ask you make it as profitable or as low risk as Trading. Just make it so we can pay our ship bills and still feel a sense of accomplishment in CR when doing this career this does not have to be in Bounties let us salvage components off the destroyed ships and sell them on the market don't make all cargo dropped stolen or something.

If you have made it this far thanks for reading. I hope you all had a fantastic new year and I am looking forward to seeing this game develop over the next year.

Please post below your close kills and them getting away. Also your suggestions on how they could improve bounty hunting.
