Bounty / Loot & Firing Controls

First off let me say - Fantastic job on a Space Sim Sandbox. We all know this isn't an easy feat, and what's more you've made a living, mostly working, machine that suits many play styles.

While I realize there is still a lot yet to be done, and many little problems to fix - I'd like to throw a dagger at one of the more pressing issues. At least, that is, they are pressing (cumbersome) for me.

1. Please make bounties collectable in space - If we can communicate over large distances.. what's to say someone can't electronically reward your bounties like we do in real life - I.E. Direct deposit, sending money over papal, currency through wire transfer - etc. Here's my thoughts on it; If I can scan someone and know there is bounty, then bounty scan them to confirm identities and extra pay - Then that would lead me to believe theirs a functioning legal communication system - why not wireless banking system? Please make this happen. It's real simple, doesn't break game play, prevents loss of bounties on death, and you could even make it so that players have to go to the ship transaction menu to collect manually so that there still loss of bounty on death, but please for the love of god simplify this. This goes for externally obtained (bounty scanned) collections as well.

Second to this

2. Please make is so that if we scan someone, scan their cargo, bounty scan - find they have a bounty and cargo - make it so that (because we previously did all required scans) the cargo becomes ID'd to the pirate / wanted criminal and upon their destruction the player and all involved parties get an Kill mail like in EVE (sorry to throw another game into the mix, but it helps explain it) therefore allowing us to scoop and sell the cargo without issue of warrant because we helped the empire/fed/faction in the first place by klling scum! Only within these realms should this request be applied. Loot out in Unknown signal fields can still be counted as stolen goods for all I care. I would just like to have the loot of any pirate / bad guy might have dropped when I KILLLED him / her. Therefore adding a kill mail system (like found in eve) would add traceable data and our rights to collect the darned loot!

Finally, but not least.

Please add several more offense slots in the controls menu - maybe up to 8. So that way we don't have to constantly switch between systems to get the next two grouped weapons / utilities. This would slim down needless N key pressing as well as add a layer of realism we expect in a MASSIVE SPACE SIM.

Bounties are lost on ship destruction because it levels the playing field somewhat between bounty hunters; pirates (booty must be sold in a station); miners (refined commodities must be sold in a station; explorers (discovery data must be sold in a station); traders (cargo must be sold in a station).

Cargo found in space or "liberated" from another ship is stolen - if you did not buy it, it's not yours.... ;)
 
While I understand what you're trying to say, that it's not in alingment with what I said whatsoever. I made a good suggestion, not a blank endless one. However, I will say that things can and will change in the game. How or why they change will be another story. However, what I am asking probably will end up being considered. I've seen many posts about similar wants. I just thought I might try and elaborate a little more. A kill mail system would solve the loot issue fairly easily and it would make the reward system more fun in game for plenty of folks. It's not a step back, friend. It just happens to make sense - It's an electronic space age where everything happens via hyper-inter-stellar coms. I'm fairly sure in a connected, and yet still fragmented galaxy, that what I'm asking would naturally fit into lore, game play, meta, and overall satisfaction.

Further, The controls I asked for would be very nice.
