Bounty recovery

With one thing and another, I didn't claim a bounty. That bounty is with the Monarchy of Taliesin. However, when I go to Taliesin there is no faction by that name. In fact there is only one station. I must have picked this bounty up along the way, in another system but can't locate it. Is there a faction location tool available or can anyone suggest a way of recovering this bounty.

There isn't that I am aware of. Have you checked the systems around that system?

I have. No sign of it. It must have been eliminated as a faction, but that should have wiped the bounty on my list. Don't you think?
