Bounty Vouchers?

I feel like I missed something about Bounty Vouchers.

I was testing a new combat set up with one of my ships by taking on a couple of Missions in the same system.

I finished one of them and I was on the second when he destroyed me.

I bought my ship back, the mission complete was still there, but the Bounty Voucher I received was suddenly gone. I have had something like that happen before and the vouchers were still there. I don't remember if they were in the same system or not and I have advanced to Competent Combat Rating since.

The point remains, I'm a little confused about the missing Voucher.

Did I miss something? Is this related to Combat Rank? What's the deelio?

When you die you lose bounty and combat vouchers, exploration data and all cargo including the unique type

I've never seen the thing you describe. I did die a lot with several millions during bounty hunting - always lost the vouchers.

I was already aware that you loose cargo, unique cargo, crew, and exploration data.

But not the Vouchers.

I've never seen the thing you describe. I did die a lot with several millions during bounty hunting - always lost the vouchers.

As I said, I felt like I missed something and I could be misremembering exactly what happened before.

The kills still count towards your combat rank which is why you advanced, you just lose the vouchers.
