Another angle, maybe we could set up a bulletin board mission for people to fetch the bounties and take a %.

I think it would be better if I could claim them easier. I still want that money, but I'm not going 300ly for 5,000cr.
Tell you what. You meet me somewhere, take a few shots at me, and let me scan you. Then I can kill you, claim the bounty on you, and when you reclaim your ship, no more clutter. 
Seriously though, the only way currently to clear the list is to die. I imagine that probably needs to be looked at, at some point.

The bounty actually is a voucher - something that FD talked about as being tradable. (Read the DDF thread on Vouchers for a heads up on how they were thinking at the time, subject to change of course)
Hmm there should be either a guild for claiming bounties of all factions,
or another way to conclude independent bounties to one entry.
I remember doing a 2 hour trip to clear my log of missions i abandoned and bounties i had to collect.

Yeah problem is they've been quite paranoid about letting us trade directly with each other, probably concerned about gold farming etc. Look how long it's taken for them to let us abandon cargo. Still, abadoning vouchers in the same way shouldn't be too problematic.
Quite agree ... quick solution to a more complex problem.
