Bovine Pack

I noticed the other day when I was playing Planet Zoo we only have 2 kinds of bovines American Bison and African Buffalo so I thought what if we had more bovines in the game such as the following:

European Bison

Yak

Musk Ox

Gaur

Wild Water Buffalos
I figured these are some of the bovines we need for the Game

Musk ox actually aren't bovids. They're weird goat-antelope creatures, like takins are. I also have to say while I'd take one, maybe even two bovines, this is waaaaay too many.

I thought Giant Elands and Greater Kudu were members of the antelope family not the bovine family is that true?

Here is the answer. Both the giant eland and the greater kudu belong to the subfamily Bovinae

While musk oxen are not bovine (like Bearcat says, they are weird goat antelopes, or caprines), they do belong to the Family Bovidae. So if you wanted a bovid rather than a bovine pack, you could totally include them! Was just lamenting the overall lack of bovids on another thread!

Bovidae the family has multiple subfamilies. Bovinae, the bovines proper, includes both Bovini (cattle/buffalo) and Tragelaphini (spiral-horned antelope like the bongo and nyala). Musk oxen are part of Caprinae along with sheep and goats.
