While I was originally waiting for the release of the full game I decided I couldn't wait and decided to get in on the action.
My main reason for waiting was that the previous Elite versions issued have always featured some fantastic content in terms of maps, novella's, ship cards, etc.
I'm wondering whether we know of any plans to include content with the final boxed game? There's already so much fiction / lore out there it would be great to get another set of manuals, ship data sheets, local galaxy maps, etc.
(My previous versions of Elite, Frontiers and First Encounters (Spectrum, ST, A3000 and PC) are the only software I've bought where I've kept the original boxes and all content (normally used to bin the cardboard boxes through lack of space).
While I'll be receiving a download version, I've also no problem purchasing a boxed as well, if it contains additional goodies!
