Here's the idea
Some people who have pledge at the £60 or £90 levels or above,
for whatever reason, don't want the actual boxed version.
They could just tell Frontier that they don't want it,
or they could offer it to someone else.

Here's how it works
You are entitled to the boxed version but don't want it.

You post on here your email address and if it's the £60 or £90 boxed version.

Then someone who can't afford to pledge that high, can contact you and arrange for you to send it to them.

You arrange this by simply giving Frontier the other person's address as the delivery address.

Only people in the UK should claim the unwanted boxes as paying someone else's P&P (postage & packing) will get complicated.

The person offering the boxed version then states in their post that it has been claimed.

If the arrangement falls through, you remove the "claimed" from your post.

Anyone not registered with this forum, but offering a boxed version, can email me their email address and what version it is to alien@guildofsleepers.org and I'll it list here, remember to keep me informed if it gets claimed!

So there it is ... who will be first to offer a boxed version (sorry but I want mine :D)

If they couldn't afford the £60 level anyway, I don't see what difference it would make.
You are suggesting people would rely on this to not increase their pledge.
In 15 days time, they won't be able to increase or hold off an increase, so time will tell.

TBH, I'll be surprised if this idea takes off anyway.

It won't, as there's only one activation code per tier. Perhaps redundant now there's a cheaper digital-only tier?

On the activation code ...
The code will be the same for the box as the digital version
and they won't make unique disks for each person,
as that would be a production run of 1 x 621 (at the moment)
any idea how expensive that would get?

so the my code would work on your disk, trust me.

Sorry, didn't mean to create that effect. Ideas = good. And anyway, I forgot about the £60 boxed tier, so it might still be of use to someone.

Although, I don't have a problem with the idea, I think people putting their email addresses in an open thread will just invite a ton of spam into their in-boxes. My I suggest Alien, if you want to act as a go-between, to use the PM system instead? If a deal is agreed (for clarity) list it in your reserved post.
