If I could see my own ship properly, i.e. some sort of camera that I can rotate to see where the flippin' guns are, what the skin looks like, without the immovable boxes floating on top, then after that random NPCs wandering about is fine with me.

THIS; I do agree with one of the points. Wouldn't pay 45 euros.

pirates stations available only to pirates, with better guns and equip
Secret Asteroid stations with extra low prices of goods
much more interdictions
sudden mission in space during the flight to pick up some goods in space
to see people walking around a ship in HANGAR
passengers mission
trade with highly illegal and lucrutive passengers hibernation capsules
trade opportunities outside a station, traders selling goods under actual price
Galaxy live radio stations

I, too, will offer the developers a pittance for them to rework the entire game to suit my personal tastes, and my tastes alone.
