Braben mentions groups?

so I watched the twitch stream of gamescon Q&A, and they briefly mentioned that Braben already talked about groups. I was hoping someone could link me to this? or explain what the devs said? imo that's the biggest thing missing from the game... guilds/groups- good communication tools for us organized players so we don't have to use FB and reddit.

anyone with info on what they said, I would really appreciate some details here!

They didn't really say too much about it. Mr.Brooks has already stated more about such things in his Dev updates.

just looked at the dev updates I could find.. I only found mention of minor factions.. which really has nothing to do with what im talking about - in game communication and organization tools for groups/guilds. :[
