Brachiation for Orangutans

Now that we have gotten the second gibbon, we now have two brachiating species, the Lar Gibbon and Siamang. There is however one species in the game that is known to brachiate fairly often, and that is the Bornean Orangutan. I think it is time that the Orangutan be given the ability to brachiate on climbing frames, ropes and vines like the gibbons will as of Update 1.13.
If this could happen in a future update, that would be fantastic to see.

Funny how everyone always forgets the other Primates that need the Ability to brachiate. But of course the Orangutan not being able to is the most problematic😕
Really hope for a nice Surprise in the Update. The Enclosures would become so much more awesome 🦧🦧🦧

Orangutans as well as the Chimps and Bonobos would be amazing, with Orangutans being the priority. Orangutans are my favourite primate, and I hate not being able to use them because of their unrealistic movement. I’m really hoping this is indeed one of the hidden gems of this update!!!

This is something they may not have wanted to reveal before the announcement, as it would have led people to guess the theme or that there is another gibbon species. Really hoping we get it this update or the next one.

😍 YES!!!!! 1.15 means it should also be Time for a new DLC?😃
Wonder what it will be this Time.
Really wish I could already build some awesome new Climbing Structures for them. Financial Situation should hopefully get finally better soon😊
Well it appears that we will finally get the kiwi and the Tasmanian Devil

Cool, did they hint at it in a Stream?
I still think though they could make a pretty nice Pack with New Zealand Animals alone already.
🤔 Island Pack?
🤔 Nocturnal Animal Pack?
If it's one of those there's a Chance for another Species I want to make it into the Game.
Really hope that we might get some Light blocking Building Pieces.
🤔 If I remember correctly which one was the last DLC I assume we'll get 5 Animals?

Looks like Oceania centric islands pack

Yeah they were hinted at in the stream and it looks to be a scenery pack, given the animals I think it will be an Oceania Pack

The brachiation looks great and is a long awaited update, but unfortunately the video just highlights how desperately the orangutan needs a remodel. The haircoat for the orangutan, especially the adult male, has always been horribly wrong. Frontier has improved a lot at modelling long hair in the past three years, I know they could do it much better justice today.
Watching Frontier's morbidly obese model swing from the branches made me laugh; that animal could barely move let alone swing like that. Why do so many of Frontier's animals have to be obese? This is antithesis to the level of veterinary care and nutrition that animals receive in modern zoos.

I think the main problem is more how the body is far too much like a gorilla's body.
