Braintrees Planted on Alien Platforms and Cause Rocks (and SRV) to Float

Took a trip out to see some Braintrees and I noticed that the trees are planted in some sort of alien platform or planter.

Also, the Braintrees now have some odd effects on the surrounding environment causing rocks to float and even my SRV floated.

I've seen this effect very occasionally, it's surprising it doesn't happen more often considering how many very large numbers are being divided by very small ones.

Looks cool with the Braintree's, I've not found any in-game yet :)

I have "floating rock" surface resolution issues like this whenever I go down to a planet surface. Given that I'm using an ancient PC that was never designed for gaming even when it was new, I shouldn't be surprised.

Wonder if it's related to the ships that suddenly want to be subsurface vehicles when doing scan missions.

I've found numerous system authority ships near the surface installations that are stuck in the ground, or glued to the surface. Normally, these things launch as soon as you get close. Now you can drive your SRV right up to (and in some cases onto) them.

I've also run into some places where gravity/physics appears to have undergone some rather interesting mutations. Drove into a small gully, and was immediately pulled down to the bottom and couldn't drive out. I could see the installation lights glowing at the edge of what would normally be a shallow roadside ditch, but couldn't get out of it. Ended up logging out and into non-Horizons ED to break free.

Also found one surface installation that was on the side of a ravine. No way to reach it at all.

All of the weirdness for me started with 2.4. I'm thinking they borked a few things under the hood somewhere along the line. :D

I've seen floating rocks in locations where there are no brain trees. It seems to be session-related: if I quit and restart, my SRV and the scattered rocks are back to normal.
