Branchiation? Branchiation!

We are getting the Siamang!!!

Is it possible branchiation is real? Is it possible the Orangutan will be affected?

My thought: maybe they made brachiation part of the update, which is why they didn't announce it before the pack. Otherwise people would have known from the update announcement immediately that we'd get a gibbon.

But it's just as likely that we'll just see brachiation as an enrichment item, I suppose.

Looking at the pictures I assume brachiation will be bound to an enrichment item only. And probably even only this one, very unnatural looking enrichment...
But it is what it is and the sounds of the Siamang will make up for it.

I’m so excited for this!! If it’s tied to an enrichment item, it will avoid the issues that exist with climbing so it should look more polished. Can’t wait to see it in game!

Looks to me like it's set up like a track ride, so you set up a path for them to follow with either a tightrope walk or swinging animation (or more? Those are the ones in the screenshot)- not quite as broad as the existing climbing system (equally, could be less prone to wonkiness), but not as limited as a 'swinging bars' enrichment item. Definitely recolourable, and hopefully disguisable by sticking items over the top of it

I somehow doubt it. I think birthday animals will be more or less close looking animals of the base game rooster.

Branchiation is confirmed to be in the update. And it appears that the enrichment item is customizeable, like a track.

If it's a new mechanic, it makes sense that at least one existing animal will get the coding for it as well. Facts being that it's unlikely we'll get another Gibbon, so having just one species total using this just doesn't make sense, effortwise.

Unlikely, but the cherry on top would be if guests could use new structures, like a jungle gym or monkey bars
