Branded swag!

So today I got my branded tat from Frontier. Pretty good since I only ordered on Weds night (Their site was having problems on Wednesday). OK, I live in the UK, probably less than 200 miles from Frontier, but I'd still call that a quick delivery.
AND it's not tat either. I have to comment here on the quality. It's good. My only complaint, well quibble really, I'd have loved if the Alliance pin and key-ring were actual cloisonné (enamel for the lexicographically-challenged :p). But they're still good.
Oh, and the sizing seems off. I mean, I bought a Large 30th anniversary Tee (the one with the original box art, currently only £8, so $12 maybe?) and it's a little snug. There's simply no way I'm an XL. OK, correct that, the wife has just reminded me about my 'celebration cider' last night, and all the other nights I apparently have something to celebrate.
Please also note I do not get a damn penny for this endorsement and I paid full whack. They didn't even send me some complimentary socks for the distress they caused me due to the site being wonky when I tried to order the first several times.

I'll have to wait till they appear in the Cancer research shop before I get one....a bit like my Harley T-shirts which came as an unironed bundle in a black bin bag....cost a princely sum of £1.50... according to the memsahib...

It's quite unfortunate I sold my Harley 3 years ago *sigh*

Buying that hat as soon as my balance exceeds 30 quid again! :p

(Yes, I'm poor. PC's do that to you... Typically I only have a tenner on me at any one time, but that's just how I budget. :))

Guys, don't get me wrong. I'm far from loaded. @Mole I do loads of my shopping at charity shops too. When we had a car we used to go to the more affluent part of the Wirral and trawl the charity shops there. Kinda pointless in the backside where I'm living. In our charity shops you get black bin-bags full of un-ironed black bin-bags!
The missus occasionally encourages me to buy myself something but it's usually to salve her conscience regarding her own spending on eBay or Amazon, so I'm currently awaiting the announcement - 'You know how you got that space game stuff, well, I kinda bought something too...' etc
It's kind of funny though how a profile of Elite forumites is building in my mind. Above average intelligence, above average patience, above average tolerance for others. :D Well below average disposable income! :(

I'm buying the baseball cap and Empire pin as soon as my money gets transferred into my bank account. mehehehehe.

It's a very sharp looking hat. And it'l be nice to see who spots the hat and pin and knows what they're about. Which is always the best part about subtle video game swag.

I love this too. Wandering round town with a Hammond Robotics messenger bag. It's like being a member of the Illuminati. ;)

I justify my purchases by the fact that I'm single & don't have many responsibilities as a result. :)

Me' mum & sis' don't have that excuse, seeing as they're both in relationships. Mwahahahahahahahaha...

My sister's boyfriend is my old best friend from primary school. XD

Since I'm always on the Russian Recce wagon when we go out...I've found a use for all that military gear I was left with during my ungraceful exit from the Army.
Saves buying more clothes at least... plus since my wife and I are roughly the same size in clothes...we have a universal wardrobe with regard to T-shirts, jackets and strangely...Marpat camouflage keks... even though her waist is slightly smaller and her legs are longer than mine.

Admittedly, I can adjust the length of my legs to suit these days... always wanted to be a few inches taller :)

Bet you look good in a bra. :p

Black hoodie and beanie hat for me (plus empire pin too just don't tell the wife 😆)

Also just noticed the Empire mug too 😀

Pair of pervs... lol :D

I had a hard enough time struggling into and out of a parachute harness, never mind an over shoulder boulder holder....

Havent herd that in a long time.

Back on topic. I would get all things imperial my self if I had any disposable income that wasn't tied up while I wait for Horizons.

Proud owner of a Empire pin badge here!

Couldn't be happier! :D

Just waiting for the first encounter with a fellow Cmdr for the exchange of the 'knowing wink' and a thumbs up :D
