I come back from a bit of exploration to find my base system a conflict zone! I had never seen that many ships in one area before! Someone even tried to interdict my empty T6 - sorry had already even sold my exploration info 
My holds were bare and I wasn't even on a mission nor am I aligned with a power. They hadn't even scanned me or they would have known I was empty. Sorry about your luck!
