Summary
System: Minerva
Station: Starlace Station (Coriolis Starport, large pads available, 464 Ls from main star, 70.23 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Aluminium, CMM composites, Steel or Titanium
Time limit: 21st August 3311 @ 10:00 UTC

Description
Zorgon Peterson has confirmed that the Panther Clipper heavy freighter has entered full-scale production following two successful community-led support initiatives.
Independent pilots played a vital role in stabilising final-phase manufacturing, with critical commodities delivered to production facilities at Vespucci City. Security operations were also pivotal, with coordinated action clearing pirate threats and safeguarding high-priority convoys across the Aiaba system.
Pilots are now being asked to replenish Trailblazer megaship stock reserves as they supply humanity's newest frontier regions. The considerable success of independent colonisation efforts has placed pressure on Brewer Corporation's stocks of these materials.
Commanders can support this initiative by first signing up at Starlace station in the Minerva system before selling aluminium, CMM composites, steel or titanium at Starlace station's commodity market.
Commodities sold as part of this initiative will have a 10x price multiplier.
Pilots who register at least 1 contribution will receive the following rewards:
  • 1x of each class 5 and 6 cargo rack, pre-engineered with increased cargo capacity.
  • Red Metallic Brewer Decal
  • Credits, depending on success tier achieved and individual contribution level.
Pilots in the top 75% and above of contributions will receive an additional set of class 5 and 6 cargo racks.

Module stats for the CG reward
+35% Increased cargo capacity
Class 5 - 32 -> 43
Class 6 - 64 -> 86

The campaign begins on the 24th of July 3311 and will run for four weeks.
To be eligible for rewards, Commanders must first sign up at Starlace station in the Minerva system before selling aluminium, CMM composites, steel or titanium at Starlace station's commodity market.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

A whole month? "Sheesh"

... and now I 'have' to go back to the Bubble already within said month (or, if Frontier does not extend it, before completion) with my alt, because of those cargo racks. At least there's no particular time pressure, only how much people flood over this CG.

FOUR WEEKS?

How about giving those of us who couldn't take part in last week's CGs access to the repaint and decal from that ONE WEEK CG?

Whoa, now what to do with these up to 66t extra ? Get 1200t shielded on a Panther ? Or for players like me who boycott early ARXess get the Cutter over 800t ? Or getting the T8 to 450t ? I imagine those cargo racks will be swapped between ships quite often. Btw., Servers are fine, the internet must have broken somwhere.

Reports of server hamster demise were premature...they just needed a nap!

honestly i never saw this coming .
I sense sarcasm.

Personally, I'm not sure I buy into "More hauling goals" when we are already participating in one giant hauling goal with Trailblazers, but maybe that's just me...
Say what now?
At +35% I wouldn't write home about these but since they're a downgrade-free improvement (besides impact of cargo mass on speed and jump range), might as well pick them up.
So buy from the trailblazer megaship in the system, then sell to the CG station for 10x profit to "restock" the megaship?
... until it runs out because with a four week CG flooding in there is a good chance it will.

Someone at Brewer might also get fired for being financially irresponsible by contracting (or rather, calling for) independent pilots to sell the cargo at ten times market price, instead of acquiring it cheaper themselves. I assume the logistical costs would be less than the markup on the price, anyway.

Or : It doesn't have anything to do with lore or logic because it's a fluff piece, the Trailblazers have not actually been at risk of running out of any listed commodity here for months in gameplay terms, after the initial colonizing rush subsided, and/or various adjustments to commodity resupply rates were made. Unless this is meant to lead up to colonization coming out of beta - which I don't see happening yet (with no signs coming from Frontier) and they're expecting another rush coming in from that - it looks a bit like a filler activity. Like for those haulers who may not have been drawn into colonization.

CMM Composites seem to have slightly higher profit margin when purchased at galactic average and hauled by the panther-load than gallium during the previous CG. :giggle:

Can confirm, was at megaship just before the 'server drop', and the stock of cmm comps was huge, now post server drop its been massively reduced. I sense shenanigans...
... and thankfully I have all those commodities available near my colonization spots already. I don't think I've visited one in a few weeks at least, emergency power cells and some high tech commodities aside.

But I guess they did realize it'd look a bit silly to run this CG and still have nearly a million tons of each metal available at the Trailblazers. Now when can we make emergency power cells of our own at stations Frontier
