@Jens Erik is this ever going to get fixed? it will be a year since malta dlc.
Not to downplay the issue at all, but, in case you were unaware, they've somewhat fixed the issue, so that it's way better now than it was when the thread was first made. It's still somewhat noticeable though.@Jens Erik is this ever going to get fixed? it will be a year since malta dlc.
There's just a slight difference, they didn't bother much to fix it, what's so hard for them to rollback the game version when these dinos released to check what's really wrong? baffling.Not to downplay the issue at all, but, in case you were unaware, they've somewhat fixed the issue, so that it's way better now than it was when the thread was first made. Not to sound rude, but this is none of our problem, we are just customers, i just want this issue fixed.Cost savings from up top, the company's business strategy is not very good and they don't seem to learn from their mistakes. The developer resources are likely severely strained and they are running around from project to project with skeleton crews left to manage the daunting task of content updates. This leads to QA and general testing as an afterthought or cut entirely leaving the players to beta test and report the issues. Mind you the artists and animators making so much of the content for the updates aren't going to be able to fix glitches and bug test things, so art asset quality remains pretty high regardless of the surrounding unoptimized and programming issues.

Have shared!I've found this on reddit:

There is a nice before/after screenshot, which depicts the problem well.
And this part seems to point out the solution:
"If I recall correctly, some time ago someone here on the subreddit had managed to figure exactly what the issue was, in that Frontier for some reason managed to remove (which caused this bug), and forgot to add certain files back which helped with the transparency effect. This is why the edges currently look jagged compared to how softer they looked previously."
@Francesca Falcini
Could you maybe forward this to the devs? They should easily understand what the actual issue is based on this info.
Thank you very much. Hopefully this will get addressed.Have shared!
