Browsing the Frontier store a thing of the past?

Greetings! With the introduction of Arxs now, and the apparent removal of the Elite Dangerous extras section on the frontier store website, will there be any way to browse the paint jobs, ship kits and other cosmetic offerings outside of game?

I ask this because I sometimes take a look at the store via my phone when I'm away from home/the game, especially on Fridays when new cosmetics are released, just to see what's what. Now it seems that I cant do that anymore. Any word on it's possible return? Even if its just for show, all I'd like to do is look at the offerings, i can wait til i get back in game to actually make the purchase.

I looked around and couldn't find an answer, but perhaps I missed it.

now you need to look though the ingame store... but wait the fun doesnt stop there, if you want a paint pack for your viper... you have to be in you viper to see it, unless of course its on the front page of other tat they want you to buy for 18,670,943,278 ARX but if you act now its on sale for 3,000 ARX but only if you buy it in the next 10 seconds by clicking this flashing blue button!!

no more searching by ship - at least on xbox

Weird, you can search by ship on PC and the UI looks like it would work on consoles 🤔

doesnt work you can only click on the paint etc icons, the ship one the cursor does not want to go there for love nor money, the camera view thing which im assume you can rotate the ship around doesnt work either.

well thats my experience, someone elses may be different after all my minings working lovely and others are having issues ?!?!?

not high on my list though

Wait a second, there is no more storefront for ED @ the official frontier store?

yeah, game extras dropdown doesn't have ED anymore, and the jpeg link on main page draws a 404 error.

Oh boy, I like the onionhead and pirate t-shirts.

hm, browsing the pirate t-shirt merch gives links for eagle pirate faction paint for $5 (related products), not arx.
Very sloppy.

It is baffling how they managed to make it more difficult to buy stuff and alienate people with what is apparently too many "Buy Arx" and "Store" buttons at the same time...

You need to bind the rotation and zoom in controls.
As far as I can tell,advertising things is bad,so in a way FD are doing us a favour by deleting the online store.

Which means that from now on, you can only buy things while in the game. You may buy ARX offline, but that's all. That much for buying some rare PJ like Chromed or Midnight when on holiday (unless you take your laptop with you). Goodbye, Festive Countdown or how it is called. Hm.

Perhaps the online store is only temporarily down until some arx-related stuff is fixed?.. (just speculating)

Or maybe the online store only works for card payments, and doesn't support paying with your arx 🤪

Wait so now I can't buy a paint for a ship I'm going to get before I actually get it?

Who the hell thought this is a good business idea??????

You can select other ships in the livery section. Your current ships comes preselected by default, but you can click a button to deselect it and other ship buttons will show (at least I recall being able to select other ships when I tried it).
