Hardware & Technical Brushing off Dust GPU/Mobo - Regular Soft Paint Brush or Anti-Static Brush ?

Hi all, using compressed air to blow out my pc and there is that dust layer that doesn't blow off. Wipes off easy with finger.

Just wondering if you guys think an Anti-Static (ESD) Brush is necessary or any Soft Bristle Paint Brush will do.

Thanks

From generell you can just demontage it and clean it regulary, but you need new cooling past after this.

I can suggest to watch some videos to this where people change it to watercooling units. It's nearly the same.

A soft bristle paint brush should be fine, that's what I use. Just make sure the bristles are very soft as otherwise there is still the chance of micro-scratches (more noticeable with black of course). If the ferrule is metal, make sure to put some tape around it to prevent scratches.

Fine paint brush is fine, just make sure it is natural materials, not synthetic fibers.
