I knew you'd be on it. Well done.

I've been quite busy with non-Elite stuff, but I'll try to get the boards updated this weekend.
If I don't manage, then I've got some time off work coming up, starting with the bank-holiday next weekend. So I'll definitely have time then.

The Cobra is a fun ship to fly and in some ways it feels like this ship is not only the Cobra MkV but also the Asp Scout MkII, as she is the ship that the Asp Scout was trying to be: decent jump range (yet not a match for the AspX), faster and more agile. She also runs cold, though not quite into Dolphin territory.
I pulled out all the stops for this run, including using premium refills on my AFMUs as well as burning jumponium at every opportunity. I made a few minor mistakes and had a Mauve Adder near the end but my route needs a lot of work if I am to challenge CMDR Crotalus' time.
Real life dictates that I put in less time in-game than I have of late but I need to replenish my jumponium anyway. Fly fast! o7

My previous SCO runs were without the Mass Manager experimental - an oversight that I have now corrected.

Even with a high-spec ship like this (jump range 5LY ahead of the Palomino, which I took under 2 hours) and using the same route as my previous sub-2-hour time, that barrier cannot be taken for granted. All it took was a couple of mistakes (worth maybe a minute and a half) and a bunch of long hyperspace tunnels and I am just over 2 hours rather than just under.

This is my first time posting here and I know its a little suspicious showing up and claiming the fastest time ever. I have the video of the entire run. If additional evidence is required, I'd be happy to share it.

Welcome to the forum and the Buckyball Racing Club, nice way to make an entrance. o7 Cmdr!
It's not so suspicious, we've not had so many Mandalay runs yet. Congratulations on fantastic run.

You certainly don't need to share your whole run & route, but as you're claiming the record, I'll need a little bit more evidence to comply with the current evidence rules linked here (from the previous page):
Really I just need evidence of the start and end dates.

So to prove you were in the bubble at the correct start date & time: either a screenshot from the station services at Galileo no more than a few minutes prior to launch, or if that's not possible, then a screenshot of the galmap, either in Sol prior to departure, or the first time you opened it after departure. A single screenshot from your video should do.

And for the finish, a GalMap or System Map screenshot showing you in Sadge at the correct date & time (within a few minutes). If that's not available, then a shot of your final GalMap plot to Sadge will do. Again just take one screenshot from your video.

You can PM those to me, or DM me on the Discord, or add them here.
Your time won't change, as the screenshots provided are all that's required for the time evidence, but I just need the date evidence as well.

If your video is already available online and you'd rather not grab screenshots, then you can PM/DM me a link rather than sharing it with everyone (I'm very, very unlikely to make a run myself in the near future).

There's no need to provide outfitting evidence in unlimited class - although it's assumed you have the best fit, i.e. pre-engineered FSD and Guardian FSD Booster.

Here's those screenshots. And yes it's completely engineered for jump range to the max.

Quite an entrance! Welcome to Buckyballing and the A* Challenge, CMDR!
I doubt if my next run will come within an hour of that time: my last AspX run was 118 jumps and my DBX has only a LY or so on it in full tank range (albeit with a larger tank).

This was a much better time than I expected and fewer jumps (115). I only had one or two long hyperspace tunnels, so getting up earlier paid off there but on the downside this run saw some of my worst flying and navigating with many mistakes - I must have slipped out of the jet cones 10-12 times! I don't think I could beat 2 hours on this route but I would have come much closer, otherwise. My route is above the Galactic Plane, so perhaps it's time I switched to going below.
