Once again, you can read about the previous races here. That will give you an idea of how all this plays out.

As Esvandiary pointed out, XBox participation is an interesting question. On the surface, it shouldn't be a problem but I can think of two complications.

1) Mac and PC share the same universe, XBox is in its own. So will XBox CMDRs be at an advantage or disadvantage because of this, or is the experience the same? (time between jumps, chance of interdictions, ship performance etc.)

2) A condition of the race is that CMDR's have to be able to submit screenshots and/or video of their times. So how easy/hard it will be for XBox CMDRs to send screenshots via email, or post them to a site like Imgur?

If neither 1 or 2 are a problem, I don't see why not. The more the merrier!

Then there's no problem, Xbox DVR can take care of the screenshots and vids.

About the "Different" universe, the only difference is Xbox having less players and the game crashing all the time

That might be a huge difference though, if this race ends up going through the power HQ systems, some of those are pvp warzones especially when they coincide with CGs. Less players = less threat.

Perhaps Bucky could just squeeze another column into the leaderboard though? (PC/Mac or Xbox).

After thinking it through for a few days I decided, that yes: I'll be there to race!

I was considering flying a Cobra for this, (Because of it being THE classic ship and all)
but a bit ago I told someone on Steam about it and they were really enthusiastic about doing it in what I think might be their new favourite, the Adder!

So yeah.. I'll be running it in a Fer-de-Lance mostly for the reasons, that I'd never fly it under normal circumstances..
And of course, if the bumper sticker is indicative of how this one's going to turn out, the deLance might be a bit more challenging?
I'll see soon enough, I guess..

..now how do I name this ship?...
