Bug and recovery after release?

If we lost our ship, cargo, or credit by bug in the game after the game release in December, will we get our ship or credit refund? In other MMO game, GM will give us back all we have lost. I know Beta we can't get any refund but how about after the game release?
 
Not all games have a reimburse policy. I suppose it depends on how elite logs events and how much time frontier have to devote in checking logs to see what happened and then going through the reimburse procedure. 100s or 1000s of reimburse petitions could really slow progress down on the rest of the game.

Will elite even have GMs? I'm not sure as its not a traditional mmo in that sense. i think if frontier stated on the first day of release stating there is a zero reimburse policy in place, then everyone would know where they stand from the off. its difficult to add such a policy further down the line.
 
I wonder what words people gonna use when the game release. Today people said "This is just a beta". Tomorrow people may say "This is just a release game".
 
interesting point let's hope so as by release i think it's only fair for people to be reimbursed for an unavoidable non human error bug related loss as it could represent a great deal of invested time for some folks who only have limited hours to play.

Well, i did get my 130 million refunded when my savegame got corrupted two hours after start of B3. ;)
Wasn't even able to load into the game though, only way to fix it was deleting the save (which i did after i was told i could get refunded).


I think it will be like in other games: If they can tell by the logs what happened and what you lost, there will be refunds.
