I have noticed for a long time that many of my animals are pregnant for far longer than the Zoopedia states they should be.
Red foxes, for example, have a gestation time of 2 months. Yet these were the gestation periods of 10 red foxes in my zoo (and the birth date is the date of their first cub; it often takes a week or longer for the whole litter to be born.)
As you can see, not one fox gave birth within 2 months and some took nearly twice the expected time!
