Ships Bug in engineering for the Frag cannon ?

I have been doing a lot of engineering lately and with the help of inara i knew i had enough mats for what i needed for my shiny python mk 2.

my shields, drive, armour, boosters and lasers all went great.

I then unlocked the engineer for the G5 Frag cannon (Zac Nemo) without drama however when it came to engineering the big guns (overcharged) it seems that blueprint is still on the old engineering.

i had to use around 3x more materials to engineer each frag cannon than i had to use on any other item. did FD forget to move the overcharged frag cannon over to the new system when it was altered 6 months or so back?

i ended up using all my mats and am still stuck at G4 on one of them despite having way more than what i expected to need. Is this a bug or am i going nuts?

Is your rep maxed out with ol' zackie nemo? If you only just unlocked him then each grade will take more rolls. There was a whole table in the update and everything but the short version is that you need 5 rolls per module to complete whatever grade your rep level is at.
