Powerplay Bug in PP reward for me this morning?

There's a question mark because maybe I haven't got a complete grip of the game mechanics.

Last night I was taking part in the mass scramble to prep AF Leporis and finally logged off with a weekly merit score of ~10,024 - I think that was the number. The point being I was dumping cash into garrison supplies and planning to recover the losses with the rank 5 reward of 50M. Bit surprised (and out of pocket!) this morning to find out I'm still rank 4 with 4,810 carried over.

So, game/save bug or is there something I'm missing?

Don't the rewards for that weeks effort get given the following week? , or am I missunderstanding how it works also.

The weekly salary is paid for what rank you were last week. Next week you'll get the rank 5 money.

That's the thing, because I was (in terms of merits) rank 5 last week (as the ED week appears to begin on a Thursday morning GMT). Need some more opinions on this as my previous rank advances were not handled in this way.

How many merits did you finish on last week?

So if this is what you are saying: You were rank 5 in the previous week. So you could clearly see rank 5 on the screen and by no chance were you a lower rank but during the week you accumulated the merits for rank 5. If so then this is a bug and report.
However if you werent rank 5 last week (in terms of rank) then you will be eligible for the payment next week.

Just to be clear.
The rank you achieved in the week 6th October - 14th October, you get paid for today.
The rank you achieved in the week 15th October - 21st October, you get paid for on the 29th.


So...if you were at rank 5 on 14th October and have not been paid your 50m you should report it as a bug.

If it says you are rating 4 right now, then you only got to rating 4 last cycle, you didn't get over 10000 merits.

As others here have said as well, if you were rating 5 (and you aren't) you wont be paid the 50 mill until the end of this week, but since you are rating 4 you will get 5 million next Thursday.
