Bug Killing Ship... Credits and modules are not an issue. and go!

Lot's of hull, fast charging shields, fast drives, Guardian weapons, decon limpets "just in case", Guardian module reinforcements, fast charging distributor, xeno scanner, shutdownfield neutraliser and flak launchers.
Okay, now the why:
Thargoids deal absolute damage and have shield-piercing attacks, and caustic missiles are a thing. That is why you want as much hull points as possible. The GMRP's help a lot with protecting your modules as you cannot engineer the normal ones.
Fast drives for outrunning them and some of their attacks (the lightning for example or the caustic missiles)
The scanner helps in identifying exerted hearts and you get a health-bar. The shutdownfield neutraliser prevents the EMP from knocking out your ship.
Flak launchers for the swarm and guardian weapons deal the most damage to goids, preferibly gauss cannons and shard cannons.
Fast charging shields and distributor are best for hit-and-run tactics and those are what you usually do in AX combat.
Oh and also pack some heatsinks, they work great against their targeting abilities and also sometimes stop them from using certain attacks.

The Krait MkII seems to be the favorite among AX Players.

Place all that Dr. Nagi mentioned the post above in a Krait, watch some vids, realise that you will run with your tail between your legs quite a few times, and you're good to go!

Define "bugs" - for scouts, my Vulture with thermal venting efficient beams is my favorite ship. The beams actually out-perform AXMCs for me (the MCs do more damage when they hit, but they miss a surprising amount), and beams never run out of ammo. My shields rarely ever never go down, despite being considerably weaker than the shields on my Conda which took a real beating when I tried it for scout hunting. I think this is because the Vulture is so small and maneuverable, thus it's harder to hit. And when the shields do go down, it can still take a beating. Of course it also carries decon limpets, the one thing that can damage me regardless of maneuvering. And last but not least, it's FUN!

However, when the big bugs enter the AXCZ, I usually have to leave.

Just because I tried using a Phantom and I'm pretty happy with it's performance. It's faster then my similarly built MK2 (without a fighter bay) and only running 4 hardpoints the C7 distro is almost OP. Mine is focused mostly on scout hunting but I've taken out a few CZ interceptors with it. Since I have trouble hitting the swarm I would just ignore them and hit and run at the interceptor. It's fast enough that you can get out of range quick. I'm not sure the missing extra hardpoint is ideal but I often don't notice it. You could always swap out the AX multis for a flak and the PD for a heatsink. Again this is mainly a CZ scout ship but it's more then capable of taking out an interceptor. I would wait for my npc allies to start getting in hits before making a run at it.

I was just about to start a thread exactly the same as this. I had planned on using my maxed out krait mk2 as a medium anti-xeno ship and from what oaktree said it sounds like a good idea. I want to have a big anti-xeno ship too in my fleet and can't decide between using my conda or vette for this purpose. I'd get a t10 but heard it's terrible and don't have the rank to get a cutter which I hear is a great bug killer.

Thanks for the responses and tips...
this is what I am looking at.

https://s.orbis.zone/2gev

I wish I could see that site used to work just fine on my tablet but it seems to have changed recently and now I just see a blue outline of a orbis station with a black backround. That's only if I try to click on links to ship builds though if I google coriolis and go to the main site it still works.

Edit to make me look stupid it worked like normal when I hit that link again just now lol. Maybe my tablet is possessed

Looks like a solid build I'll try that out after I get gauss cannons unlocked. Only thing I'll change is swapping the ghrp out in the size 6 slot for a slf bay.
