bug ? lost some millions by changing the equipment of my ship

I have an ASP and want to buy a Transporter 7.
As I looked at what I had to pay for that Transporter, I had 1,2 million to pay plus the worth of my ASP.

Now what happend?
I changed my equipment.
I sold my detail surface scanner and got a cargo bay instat.
And I sold my discovery scanner (the better one, aprox. 1,5 million) and got a cargo bay.

Now I have my cargo but, I haven't got any money for my 2 million equipment ?!?
2 millionen are lost now... any it must be more than 2 million.
When I look at what I need to pay for the Transporter 7, I have now to pay more than 3 millionen plus.

What happened here?

Raised a ticket already... that suxx...

Probably interesting...
Before I bought the new equipment (cargo bay), I changed the position of th equipment within the ship by moving the detail sufrace scanner from a slot 3 to a slot 2.

No, it had not help...

Perhaps the customer service may help me here.
That makes no fun.

These issues were already mentioned during Gamma testing, but due to extreme fanboyism on this forum, it's just gonna keep popping up as individuals noticing the shortcomings of a half finished game with missing and broken features.
I see every day someone mentions a bug or a glitch discussed to death several weeks and months ago and anyone mentioning it gets flamed, until the flamers themselves experience the same bug.

Yes I remember that we had this severe bug during beta (correction alpha).

Now I know why the amount of the credits I lost is higher than 2 million.
I had also changed an A3 framship refuler by a cargo bay... these credits are now lost too.

I have to apologize, there is no bug!

I had misinterpreted the calculation of the ship-selling dialog and I was able to buy the new ship.
No credits have been lost and I have closed my ticket.

*puh* :)

+rep for figuring it out and admitting your error <3

And enjoy the new ship!

Any opportunity to bash the game and talk of fanboyism, utter fail. Haters gunna hate.

And given the proof just posted that there was, in fact, no bug, I hope the poster who said the thing you were quoting feels -really- stupid right now.

And mercifully only one reference to fanboyism and shortcomings of a half finished game with missing and broken features...

@elleshaped... Unlikely methinks!

Got "Could not connect to transaction server" when outfitting a new ship about an hour ago. When I reconnected I was back in my old ship, money missing. Then I got disconnected and game crashed when I tried to restart.

Seemed to be working again ~20 minutes ago and my new ship was back. Off to another system seeking more modules to upgrade then I got "Could not connect to transaction server" again when replacing a cargo rack module.:(
