BUG: Megaship Ship Log Already Scanned

Fairly new player- I'm having problems where the megaship scanning mission is not completing. I scan the ship, get the ship's log uplink on the contacts, then scan the ship's log from within 200 meters. I get a message stating that the ship's log has already been scanned, but my mission does not show a completion. Is there a workaround for this bug?

EDIT: I dug deeper and found that this issue has been around for a while. Let's all vote to prioritize and squash this annoying bug once and for all. Vote here: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/50643

The closest i get to working around it, is to finish multiple missions for the same ship, on different days, i think?

last time it happened to me, i just finished the current mission i already had a successful scan for, closed the message window for the materials-(data) i also got from the scan (which had not gone away automatically), and then some time the next day, i could finish the next.

it is still a problem though , i confirm,

and i should also say that that one-a-day 'solution' is neither always going to be practical for people,
and does not always seem to work, either. sometimes the 'copy' of the down i have does not go away, no matter what messages i delete, or what data i sell.

I believe i remember someone saying that megaship random data, is sometimes things like PP data? if you can, try selling all the junk you've currently accumulated.

CONFIRMING needs a fix though.

at least stop the missions from re-occuring, FOR THE SAME megaship.

Have the mission search for ones within the same radius further away, and COMBINE that with preventing multiple missions for the same one, if you can't be bothered finding the code inamongst what's already there. simple. ADDITIONAL LINES inserted ABOVE, that except following-lines' functions.

It is so annoying that this bug is still not fixed. I remember to have reported it years ago and now I also experience it. What's going on?

What's with the ground combat zone AI not moving?

Sorry about the bump but I just had this bug, all the NPCs on both sides just stood around. The enemy ones would shoot back when I came over to kill them but wouldn’t move. Literally shooting fish in a barrel. FDEV not fixed this one still? Edit: On the plus side this did just unlock Hero...
